Carla Schroeder-Z. BOTTOM ROW: Jamie Thoemke-2, Jerry Thoemke-Z, Michael Wren-l. Perhaps the greatest task of some first graders was to learn to jump rope. Through their interest, ambition, and determination, they soon became professionals. Each morning recess and noon hour the first and second graders were found lining up and waiting for their turn.

I The third and fourth graders are very interested in science, which brings about a curiosity of the world around them. They observe and classify the facts they have learned in this knowl- edgeable subject.
