Davenport Up from the street, high on a hill, Where, in the winter, winds blow shrill. The lofty walls of Davenport stand The fairest college in all the land. Round about her are large old trees, Boughs and branches all bare of leaves. On either side are the mountains tall, Which stand about her like a wall. Peace and quiet about her dwell.
