Valedlctory Well Grads, it took us 12 years - but we made it! September 1965-June 1977. Be- tween these, years packed with growing and learning. We learn from all we do, in study, re- creation and social activities. Still there is truth in the quote, HStrange how much you've got to know before you know how little you know.H Yet we have learnt alot in the past while-like how the smiling, radiant, happy faces fC7 ' seen on the first day back to 6'-kwa. 9690 gn school after summer holidays K 5 usually belong to mothers, how Q Q students often know what's :filth going on in the school,especially time off, before the teachers do, and the amazing-almost mystical ability of teachers to plan tests for the same day. One of the questions heard at every graduation is naturally, re- member when... Remember when the guys got that small car through the school doors and into the hall-and remember when the entire school ran down Main Street and remember when... the list goes on and on. Then we look at all our preparations for grad. The fund raising, planning and the graduation itself. These will all now be placed among the many memories we have to cherish and chuckle at in years to come. Graduation is also a time used to wrap up years and years of thank you into a few words. So first let us sincerely thank our teachers who have guided Cand sometimes pushedl us along the path of learning. May we see to it that our future attainments repay you at least in part. Next cur loving thanks and heart-felt gratitude to our parents for their sacrifice and patience which has allowed us to get this far. And we ask for your forgiveness for the many times we've caused you annoyances by our teen-age follies. Also a warm thank you to all our neighbors and friends for coming out this evening and sharing this special event with us. We reach graduation with mixed emotions. Definately happy and eX- cited for having finally finished school and looking forward to the opportunity to begin shaping our own futures. -Then on the other hand - very sad when we realize that tonight we are gathered together as a class for the last time. Over the years we have made iumereus friends and snared much to- gether - but as we have come to this inevitable turning point in our lives we will go our separate ways many of us never to meet again. But despite the distance we will put between us and the things we have to leave behind let us keep in mind the goal of a full and satisfying life. And remember - UHappiQess is the art of making a bouquet of those flowers within reach.J
