Among their summer activities was the annual D-C FFA softball tournament in which they took second. The county fairs found several club members showing their exhibits with one member advancing to the state fair. Some of the activities in the club include the soils, forestry, general livestock, dairy products, fish wildlife, and dairy teams. The soils team, placing first in districts, advanced to state competition, and the forestry also advanced to state competition with their fourth place finish at districts. Some members attended State Greenhand Camp in Alexandria, while others attended the National FFA Convention in Kansas City, Kansas. They have also toured the U of M experiment station at Waseca, and the Jack Frost poultry facilities in Cold Spring and Sauk Rapids. Their annual test plot did well and freshmen members also planted trees at Spring Lake Park. This spring members will compete in ag mechanics, floriculture, nursery, parliamentary procedure, meats, crops, and poultry. Athletic Club is mainly responsible for working in the concession stand although members are also responsible for the athletic banquets.
