Everything has its season, Everything has its time.; Show me a reason and I'll Soon show you a rhyme. Cat hit on the windowt-ill. Children £it in the snow; iilhy do I leel I don't it in Anywhere 1 go? Rivers belong where they can ramble, Eagles belong where they can ly-, I've got to be where my spirit can run £ree... Gotta hind my corner oh the sky! Every man has his daydreams, Every man has his goal; People like the way dreams have Oh sticking to the soul. Thunderclouds have their lightening, nightingales have their song; And don't you see, I want my lihe To be something more than long? Rivers belong where they can ramble. Eagles belong where they can hty: I've got to be where my spirit can run hme... Gotta hind my corner oh the sky! So many men seem destined To settle hor something small; But I won’t rest until I know I have it all. So don't ask where I'm going, Just listen when I'm gone. And h r away you'll hear me singing Sohtly to the dawn. Jon was born in New Hope, MN and later moved to Co- kato. He had no special hob- bies or pet peeves (except for school, which he wished was over). His favorite subject was computer programming. He traveled to Canada, Chicago, and Wisconsin. When asked what he would rather be named if he had a choice he said Greg Ray Benson, after his brother, because Greg was different from the rest of his family and Jon looked up to him. He felt his friends were the most important thing to him. When asked what he would wish for if he had only three wishes he said he had six: 1. to have a 3-wheeler, 2. to have lots of money, 3. for school to be done. 4. to get , married after school, 5. to sit in a hot tub, 6. to live forever! Jon died as a result of a tractor accident at his home. He will be missed much, but we all have our memories of our friend Jon. (Information taken from a per- sonal interview done shortly before his death.) Rivers belong where they can ramble, Eagles belong where they can hfy; I've got to be where my spirit can run h ee... Gotta hind my comer o the sky! 5
