After a surprisingly tran- quil Atlantic crossing we found ourselves - with the CAPER- TON - to be the first worships ever to tie up at the huge multi-million dollar Navy base at Rota. When we had learned to accommodate ourselves to the twelve-toot tides which forced us to place the brow everywhere but on the after stack we were ready to relax at any number of places: the ancient town of Cadiz, the Easter Sunday bullfights in Ste. Marguerite, a tour North to Seville. Or we could sim- ply enioy ourselves locally with some tough liberty in Jerez.
