,nr The theme of the junior Prom was Moonlight and Roses. Red and white crepe paper streamers were used along with hand made roses, made during Spring Vacation. Clothing store dummies were used on the stage. Thank goodness none of them were broken! Five D.l'l.S. ,lunior classmen attended the an- nual Career Day on the Western Washington Col- lege of Education campus in Bellingham on the nineteenth of April. They attended two classes at the Campus School and an Economics class in the college, and made a general tour of the campus. They enjoyed an art display with various works by Rembrandt, Whistler, Williams, and others. In Honor of the Class of '55 , '32 At the Beginning of the Tour The annual ,lunior-Senior Ban- quet was held in the High School Cafeteria on May 11. The .lunior class advisor, Mr. Patterson, served as Master of Ceremonies. The Class Prophecy, Will and the Seniors Fare- well Letter were read. After two months or so of industrious part-learning and set-building. the Speech Class play finally came to reality at an ASB meeting at the end of the year. The play was a tragedy entitled '4Sulnncrged. Probably much to Mr. Patter- son's dismay. the play drew a lot of laughs. The Homecoming Dance was given this year hy the Student Rody on December TT. The Queen and Princesses were elected by the Boys. Cluli and the King and Princes. Ivy the Girls' Clulw. King and Queen were Gerald Green and Sharon Barker. Princesses from the Junior. Sophomore and Freshman classes were Jean- nette Bryson, Athlene Lewis, and Bonnie Noble. respectively. Princes in the order of the classes they represented were Chuck Jones, Carter Barker. and Boh Green. HOMECOMING PLAY
