The results of their hard labor has shown up in many places: the new stage curtains, the support of the Teenage Club, the sponsorship of the Boy Scouts, the equipment for the new school and playground, and in the leadership and guidance they have given us. For these things and so many more we thank you. l . 1 if f r -nas N- Class. I sincerely hope that each and every- one has enjoyed his activities and sub- jects. May those coming back next year resolve to get the most possible scho- lastically, to better tit them for life. To the Seniors of '54, may you do your best in whatever you may select as your life career or whatever training you follow for that purpose. You will be what you want to be if you desire it enough to sacrifice for it. Good Luck, Sincerely, -, 7 BOARD OF EDUCATION-Standing, left to right Mel Hanson, Winnie Bagley, Charlie White Sitting: Fred Rensink, Arlie Smith, Om? O O ...an- to-1 -ui Students of Lincoln High . . . ln examining the grade point averages of our eigh- teen graduating Seniors, we find four top girls who are planning to be teachers and one planning a busi- ness career. Actually, of the top eleven students, ten are girls, which seems to point to a conclusion that the boys did not take their studies very seriously. Since most of these boys would now like to go on to college, their lack of study habits will be a handicap. l hope these results will help next year's Seniors make better use of their opportunities. I also wish this year's grad- uates the best of luck in whatever they undertake. I am definitely looking forward to a good school year next year, and hope sincerely that each student will make a real effort to take every advantage of the op- portunities that our school affords. Be true to yourself, kids, and l'm sure next year will be a successful one. CEDRIC LEWIS M MR.
