John Capell Backhanrls '55 varsit tennis Being a comparatively new venture at Darlington School. the swimming team got off to a late start being coached by Mr. Doak .The boys have worked hard. however. training at the pool in Lindale four days a week. The group consists of 22 boys. Among the promising swimmers on the team are Pheil, McCarthy. Greene. Downey, Alexander. Covington, B.. and Godard. So far no meets have been sched- uled but Coach Doak says that one or two are planned for after Spring Vacation. He is sure that we will make a good showing.
