SCHOOL LIFE School life is what ' s happening at Darlington High School. Each event is a proof of the reason why DHS is truly growing greater, for greatness is shown by spirit, and this year we believe our progress clearly visible. VARIETY SHOW For the second year, the high school chorus presented a vari- ety show as a money-making project to help pay for their various projects during the year. On November 1, 1968, they entertained the com- munity with the products of Hi Neighbor . Three acts-- military, hillbilly, and minstre l were followed by a final pa- triotic scene, all of which were very successful.

We, as members of the 1969 Darlington Senior class, gratefully dedicate our CHIEF to Mr. Galen Smith. In his three years of teaching here, he helped immensely in raising the spirit of our school through the sports teams and thus was a factor in making DHS grow greater. To Mr. Smith we extend our most humble thanks.
