W Music Everywhere For the past twelve years students at Darlington have had a chance to put their musical talent to use in the school band. Throughout each year this organization makes a number of appearances, play- ing at convocations, ball games, and commence- ment. Many hours are spent preparing for the high- light of the year, the annual New Market Festival. Band members who like to give our team some more support can join the pep band. This group provides music and spirit at pep sessions to arouse the team and the rest of the school. STANDING: Sandy Cochran, Linda Horn, Ronnie Schoen, Kent Butler, Bill Hampton, Mahlon Smith, Sandy Lyon, Susan Evans, Gerr ' Clouser. FRONT: Mike Clouser, Chuck Anderson, John Evans. Peppy Performers BACK: Linda Booher, Peg Anderson, Kay McCauley, Karla Paddack. CENTER: Jeanne Quigg, Sandy Cochran, Sharon Clark. FRONT: Mary Cain. This group of girls, who are also band members, have helped the band in marching and in giv- ing various perform- ances. Their rou- tines have been a great help in making our band a better one.
