SURFACE The Boys Clee Club has amembership of twenty-twoboys. Their first appearance for the year was in collaboration with the Girls Clee Club for the Musical Revue, a program of twelve song and dance acts. Selected voices assisted the Choral Club in giving sacred numbers for the Thanksgiving Convocation and the Christmas Programs. SURFACE The Girls Glee Club had a membership of thirty four this year. They combined with the Boys Glee Club to give the annual Musical Revue in October. During the second semester the Glee Clubs sang in the county Music Festival at Crawfordsville March 21. Special anthems were furnished for Baccalaureate Program. The last appearance for the year was the Spring Concert in the school auditorium. The Choral Club is a group of select voices. They have appeared on programs for the Thanksgiving and Sunshine Convocations, and Mothers' Tea. 1949 H All

Will MWAYS IIEMEMBHI The Colonial Prom, when we as Juniors honored the Senior Class of '49, All of the decorations, table appointments and other details were suggestive of colonial days. Streamers of crepe paper in shades of lavender and violet encloseda banquet hall and ball room in the gymnasium and made a canopy for each. At each place was an attractive booklet containing the menu, program, names ofjuniors and seniors, their sponsors and class officers. The covers were in lavender and violet and the words Colonial Prom were in gold. Just before the dinner three freshmen girls, dressed in colonial costumes, served mint julip in the ball room. The southern style dinner was prepared by the mothers of the juniors and served by twelve freshmen girls wearing black skirts, white blouses, and lavender aprons. Following the banquet, the evening was spent in dancing to the music of .Tack Cunningham's Dance Band, which was seated onthe portico ofa colonial home. During the dancing the three colonial ladies served punch and passed confetti and serpentine. 26
