These Girls Don't Putt Around The Girls Golf team coached by Kris McKi- chan had a lot of holes to fill this past year losing three-fifths of the state participants due to graduation. Senior Co-Captains Tra- cy Johnson and Amy Leahy lead the squad of eight being the only returning lettermen. The team played in ten triangular or qua- drangular meets competing against Lan- caster, Cuba City, and several Madison schools. In the team's intrasquad meet, the red squad, consisting of Captain Tracy, Sara, Shelia, and Angie edged out the black squad, led by Amy, April, Trisha, and Melissa. Handicap went to Shelia Ohnstad. The team traveled to Madison Odana for the Sectional meet in which they placed ninth in a field of fifteen class A and B schools. Tracy Johnson lead the squad with a 103 placing tenth. Amy and April both shot in the top two-thirds in the field of sev- enty-five golfers. The team finished the sea- son with an 11-11 record. Girls Goi — ■ i—— — M '■ A
