Mathematics Courses Challenge Mr. Bertolini quizzically checks Don Tuescher's geometry problem. This year for the first time since 1965, a class in Trigonometry and Analytic-Geometry was taught in D.H.S. The class consists of eight members and is taught by Mr. Kent Magnuson. Mr. Jack Bertolini was relieved of two General Math classes. These are taught by Mrs. Sylvia Schilling, a new teacher added to the staff; how- ever Mr. Bertolini still teaches Geometry and Math II. Jerry Bartels, a member of the Trig, class master- minds one of Bob Short's ingenius problems. MR. JOHN SCHREAR Biology Driver Education Senior Class Advisor HEY LOOK, my bacteria's moving, exclaims Suzi Bredeson. Sue Suchomel and Karen Wendt carefully work on another chemistry experiment. Science Investigates Jesse Nance from the Atomic Energy Committee visited DHS as one in a series of lyceum programs this past year. He presented an interesting and entertaining discussion on atomic energy. Student volunteers from the audience added to the general appeal of the presentation. Mr. Nance, as a follow-up to his program, visited each of the science classes to answer any questions that may have arisen.
