The gymnasium was trans- formed into a miniature towne of streamers and lamp posts. The evening began as the Royal Couple, Jane Lindsay and John Taylor, entered London Towne under the famed London Bridge. The climax of the evening took place at the stroke of ten when Jane was crowned Queen of the 1968 Junior Prom. The Royal Couple then led everyone in the Grand March to the music of Paul Hemmer and his Orchestra. At the stroke of midnight the gates to London Towne were closed. However, the evening was far from finished. Many attended post-prom parties, and only the coming of dawn ended the excitement. The memories never end and the Prom of 1968 will live forever in our hearts. King John and Queen Jane lead the prom attenders in the Grand March.

must be satisfied. Our Lives When the beautiful princess kissed the toad and trans- formed him into a charming prince, a story ended-- quite happily. For some, graduation day marks a happy ending to a four-year story, for others this day begins only another phase in the cycle known as life. Whatever our high school days entail, whatever mem- ories we recount of the important time of our life, will vary. We will remember the days of our youth when am- bition was ours. We will recall days of joy and those that were not so merry, everlasting friendships that defy the march of time, moments of thoughtful silence and gid- dish laughter,--triumphant realizations of a truth. For each of us our four years of high school must end, as they did for 98 seniors in the Class of '69. These were impor- tant hours, times, moments, but truly among the most important-- days of our lives. John Suthers, comb in hand, contemplates the idea of 20 girls in his next class. 5
