SENIOR CLASS PLAY February 25, 1957 Rehearsals for the dramatic offering of the class of 1957 are now under way. Coached by Miss Mar- guerite Connelly of the faculty and Clara Meier, student director, Strictly Formal will be pre- sented on April- 4 and April 5. How to get a date for the Senior Dance, only eleven days off, is the problem faced by Jane and Sally. Their problems are only beginning, though, formore complications arise to baffle them. These problems and their solution is the plot of the play. Jane is played by Martha Carpenter and Sally by Mayme Hendrickson whose respective reactions are: Jane, I think men are outof another world. Sally, Aren't men revoltingly possessive? Mary Hollenstein, as Agnes, says, I don't guess you kids will never grow up. Andrew Cutler, played by Paul Dunn: Any peony lover knows that no bloom eguals the White Lady. Nette Cutler, played by Sally Kuhls, agrees, Yes,I know, Andrew. Mr. Ahem--Dick Moore Maybe a little prize- winning red blood is just what those WhiteLadies need. Jim--Walter Aebersold: Here's teacher's pet. Rose Tilton--Jo Judkins: Right now I don't feel like trying to get anyone. Mrs. Til- ton--Jeanne Ellefson: Josie will have her little jokes. Josie Tilton--Patsy Eckerman: See you in the pigpen; keep your hat on so I'll know you. Elroy--Wayne Wilson: I can't seem to over- come the law of gravity. George Ahern--Francis Rock: Zowie, you aren't going with that lunk, are you? Marcia--Shirley Meier: Why, I barely come up to your chin. Cindy Collins--Karen Burke: Oh, we wouldn't give her the black plague, just the mumps. Marilyn--Roberta Skattum: Have you seen El- roy? Lt. Bob Cunningham--Gene Douglas: Ahm Bob Cunningham. 20 --

JUNIOR CLASS ELECTS 1957 PROM ROYALTY March 5, 1957 Bill Fitzpatrick and Marilyn Hollinger were elected today by the members of the junior class as King and Queen of the 1957 Junior Prom will be held on May 10. Members of the court are Judy McCarville, Lois McGranahan, Barbara Howe, Judy Stoll, George Stevenson, Jim Whalen, Jim Hanson, and Tom Osterday. Ebb Tide is the theme of this year's prom. 22
