CLASS OF SO The first few days ah yes were like o nightmare' We wondered around wide eyed innocent Cyou said 10 in a complete daze going every place at the wrong time After a few days or was it a month C73 we finally adjusted ourselves to hrgh school life and were thinking we were pretty goodll Then the storm broke wow INITIATIONVW The party lumpy reception that was accorded us After entertainlng our superiors w1th our skills and talents for a matter of C95 hours on such things as why do nuts have holes Elsie Frey prov mg her equal to Harry James on the cornet Toe nail painting boxing contests and singing with tones that sounded lust like something out of this world' we were applauded and THEN served delicrous refreshments We proved to be good sports and we look forward to future years when we will return the 1n1t1a tion compliment to other green freshiesl Of all things for lnnocent llttle freshmen to get stuck in next politics IS the worst' We dood it Frankie Stephenson became our class presi dent Iames Rowe our VICG president Robert Buschor secretary treasurer and Iill Wilson the soc1al representative tThe girls must have been democrats l Next our attentlon was turned tcst Both home rooms went far over their quo tas We were so good at selhng Caheml that we could have sold refrigerators to the esklmos Profit from the sale was split in two ways the athletic fund received S50 00 and w1th the remarnmg amount we had a party We all danced and danced and ouch' my poor bl1stered feet had lots of fun' Our class has made a fme record th1s year and we hope to make good high school students through the comlng years I started with a shocking event: it was a rather to the 'art' of selling in the magazine sale con- 30
