I4O IQ Winning six out of seven conference games, the 1932 football season ended very satisfactorily for Darlington. This well coached and very powerful aggregation swept through the season totaling up ISO points against their opponents' 19. The first game was an easy victory at Cuba City with a score of 50-0. The Redbirds next traveled to Dodgeville for their second victory, 12-0. The homecoming game was with the over-confident Mineral Point team, who went down in defeat to the tune of IQ to 0. The following week Lancaster was defeated here by a score of 25-o. Mt. l-loreb, the first team to score on Darlington, went down I3 to 7 in a hard fought game. The last home game of the season brought forth rain-coats and rubbers, and another victory for the home team. The championship game, as usual, was with the old rival, Platteville, and was beyond a doubt the hardest fought game of the season, but it resulted in a loss for Darlington 6-0. The team loses nine letter-men this year: Adler, French, Howe, joslin, Lancaster, Morgan, Morris, Sauer, and Schulz. At the annual banquet hopes for the team of 1933 were placed in the hands of Bert Tuescher, who will succeed Captain Morgan. -W B.
