Here no one is “lost in the crowd” because each student is spe- cial in his own way. niwmwm B O D Y Darlington Academy strives to stretch young minds. In the classroom individual talents and ideals are stressed. The student has every chance to express himself as well as learn from others. With the addition of a Pep Club and our first annual Homecoming, the spirit at Darlington Academy has greatly in- creased this year. The walls are always crowded with posters and the halls bus- tling with “loud mouths.” It seems ev- eryone participates in some activity. It occured on October 3, 1972, during halftime of the final home soccer game. There were seven girls in the Homecoming Court. Mr. Jack Frierson was the Master of Ceremonies and Mr. Lin- coln Privette crowned the queen. Tom Goodson and Ronda Askins were the crown bearer and flower girl. The ceremony was a complete success, and to top off the occasion the soccer team scored another victory.
