The school is a reminder of the faith that the early settlers of McIntosh County had in education. It has helped prepare leaders in the progress of our county, state, and country. You are now entering the sixties with its scientific advancement, changing economy, and growing population. This is the space age which presents a magnitude of problems for you to aid in solving. We hope that you are prepared to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow. We are fortunate in having adequate standard classrooms with an auditorium, gymnasium, and lunchroom. Improvements have been made on our school grounds and new equipment has been added this year along with an expanded audio-visual program. Facilities in the science laboratory and business education have been improved. Our school attendance has been excel- lent. This has resulted in additions to our faculty. Let me congratulate the editor and staff on this publication. It is the evidence of teamwork, school spirit, and determination.
