As usual, this year's Latin Club, our toga clad race, has represented the more classical-minded members of the school, and their antics have born this out admir- ably. Ruled by consul Butch Buchs and advised by Miss Stone, the Latin Ones celebrated the Saturnalia in true festive style. The high point of the season was, how- ever, the annual Roman Banquet presented sumptu- ously fand authenticallyb. Clad in togas strongly re- sembling sheets and languishing imperiously on their Pale of a poor parker, pighead processional. left elbows, the patricians, humbly served by sopho- more slaves, gorged a banquet ranging Ab ova ad mala or, as we plebeians would say, From eggs to apples. The entertainment, consisting of a brawny wrestling exhibition and two alluring oriental dancers, followed the solemn ritual of offerings to the gods, and closed the revels on a colorful and interesting note in the manner of ancient Rome.
