Will the meeting please come to order. These familiar words are heard at our meetings on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the activity period. The Student Council is the governing body and spokesman for the student body. Following are some of our aims and objectives: (1) encourage the practice of good citizenship, (2) promote the common good, (3) promot better understanding between students and faculty, (4) interest students in school affairs, (5) provide a training ground for both students and followers. Officers for the council are chosen in the spring. Representatives are chc from each homeroom class. Mrs. M. B. Chambers is our advisor. Plans are being made for many activities which we hope will materialize. Cooperation from the faculty and student body is a vital factor in the success of the Student Council. 9 t £ •5 24
