In Memoriom The President is dead! Our hearts stopped, A weight of tragedy bowed us down. Our flag was lowered to half mast and in that position, Old Glory, whipping gently in the breeze, seemed to symbolize the bowed heads of a sorrowful nation. The trees were bare, and the long white rows of gravestones cast long shadows, The jet planes clroned overhead, and across a hill taps sounded for a man who had died for his country--Our President. Just as John F, Kennedy accepted the torch of responsibility for his generation, we know that one day that torch will be passed on to us, November 22 1963, marks a day in our lives that we will always remember. , , ww we u zsgxssixs is XX ek A Qt,-X-., f 1 . v .
