Elizabeth is a good reader, and has en- tertained the school many times in the past four years. There is no question about the quality--and quantity-of her work. Mutt is as good a fellow as he is a bas- ket ball player, although he is so bashful that he blushes when he walks across the Assembly. He has lately acquired a habit of traveling the road to Pittsboro. The blush is beautiful, but sometimes in- convenient.
