STUDENT --------LIFE— Well, Mom, I know it's past 12:00, and I bet you're wondering why I am soaking wet. As planned, I went to the cinema but instead of seeing On Golden Pond, I saw the Rocky Horror Picture Show Can I take the car tomorrow night? With a look that says, Don't ask for anything until Christmas, you persuade your mom to let you go out the next night. Cruising down Main Street, you stop at Burger King before going to lllini Skateland. Finding ways to fill up your leisure time doesn't pose a problem. In the fall, Friday nights mean football games with pizza afterwards. Winter signals the time for ice skating at the Civic Center or tobogganing at Harrison Park. Spring fever hits with the thought that school will soon be over. Spelling relief, summer arrives, and the annoying buzz of an alarm clock is no longer heard at 6 a.m. Another year completed IN FINE SHAPE! Student Life Divider 7
