Dell Spandau, “Shorty” Laura Dell Spandau was born fourteen miles south of Danville. May 22. 1888: moved “to town” at the age of four; and at the surprisingly early age of fourteen, she entered the High School. She is noted for her original themes in English VIII. Adarian. Girls’ Club. The mikjrrt manner, and gentle heart. Fay Starkey Fay Starkey arrived in Danville on September 15. 1887. Since 1902. she has been enrolled in the I). H.
