Mr. Fitz has student in school and he is always glad to lend a helping the most respected teachers in this School and he has happiness of every student in Danville High School. wish to dedicate this edition patience tried by almost every He also has become one of much to the success Foreword As you leaf through the pages of this 58 Anchor, we hope you will be reminded of the place whose scarred desks and well worn corridors have become so much a part of our lives. The thought of leaving our Alma Mater, fills us with nostalgia and remem- brances. To remember our classmates -- pictures have been included in our Annual. Clubs enriched our lives with hobbies, and we became acquainted with our faculty who willingly shared our hobby hours. The story of these people is told in pictures. One of the many pleasures we experienced in Danville High School came with the participation in the pep rallies that encouraged our fine Admiral teams to victory. The Features Section will help us remember the fun we had and our friends in the setting in which we knew them best. Danville merchants and businessmen are also an important part of our thinking, for they contributed moral and financial support. Our Patron Section will help us remem- ber them. ln this book we have tried to present the highlights of the 1957-58 school year, and we sincerely hope that you enjoy reading this publication of the 1958 Anchor as much as we have enjoyed making it possible for you. 3 GMX 99,6 ADMINSTRATION . . , 'wwf -- 2 is 'QE Z4-iff - 1 'Q SENIORS . . . nu 53,,g:'if ss' nv' 0 5 S A 'ef-2:5 ,S A deg: A I ..3.
