Noel: Well, last but not least we have Peggy Weis- singer, who is still trying to make up her mind between Ronnie and Enosl Yes, we've prophesized everyone And believe us its all in fun We have said what we've thought What we've heard and seen And after a1l's said and done We're really not too mean! 3. 2. 1. n 1 f , .A vn0'v-4-1-9, 5. nl! 9. nassng arexaixew euuv '5 sauof euuoq '9 aunqxal Aumg 'g smo se poo? se sg ss:anB mog 'Q 1qSpM peqg 'g :mpeg qog Augg 'g 191591 Apef 'L HUBDS auuezng '17 uoumm auef wg suxoyq 'I LEST WE FORGET The end of our school days is now in sight Friday, the 25th, is the big night We 've had our joys-our work is done And now we 're remembering all our fun. In 1950, most of our class came To D.H.S. to achieve our fame Few good qualities others could see But we had plenty of pep and vitality. A new door opened to us that year Which gave us memories we now hold dear We kept our hope, despite upper-classmen Who Qto our sorrowj thought us only green freshmen. To them we were pests, and they couldn 't see Why we were even allowed to be Around the halls and on the campus But all those feelings didn't stop us. We 've risen to great heights, as you can see But good fortune doesn't come easily Hard work and thinking is what it took. Don 't you think it's given us a prosperous look? To our sponsors we owe quite a lot They remembered -when others forgot To these three-Mr. Taylor, Bishop, and Fitz We say, Thanks, for never calling it quits. We had help from our parents, advice from our friends Our teachers have guided us around all the bends To our fellow students, we leave you this thought You 've helped us accomplish each goal we have sought. There 'll be no more games to see or classes to attend No more plays to present or themes to turn in Though we go away and leave empty chairs There 'll be others to climb D.H.S. stairs. lt's time to go, as they say in the song But we 'd like to thank those who 've helped us along Though we 've had our good times and pulled our many pranks To those who've endured them we give our sincere thanks. We 're leaving now with a tear in our eye Our hearts are heavy as we breathe a sigh As we walk along the paths of life May God's hand lead us from worldly strife.
