The Clarion '55 Ode to the Seniors Here is our editor, Eva Banbury, She's a busy brunette, and always so merry. Charles Colopy drives a dark red Ford, And always likes Sarah to climb aboard. Here's our little Lulu, with stazure quite small, Cute freckles, brown hair, and a temper big and tall! Jean Durbin in her modest, sweet way, W.ll soon persuade Earl to name the day. jack Hall is interested in the wild, wild, west, But we think he really likes Rosie the best. A clever nurse our jane will be, And from her patients collect many a fee. Shy and sweet, as pretty as can be, That's Alma Butler, she suits Bob to a T. Those Wolfes from Pennsylvania sure are tough, Bob never gives up, though the goin' gets rough. Betty Durbin, a tall, good-looking brunette, With her giggle and charm will get her way, we bet. Black-haired Joann is fun, and oh so quiet, She gets along fine, and never causes a riot. Hedge Jarvis has very little to say, But speaks his piece about once a day. Norrita Colopy sets many a snare, ' For lots of fellows, with her long red hair. A cheerful fellow is H. Robert Beck, He gets into trouble by the peck, by Heck! Janet Durbin is spicy, with fellows in tow, For a date with her, you'll line up in a row. Ann plays first trumpet in the band, And does that Blanchard think she's grand! A lover, Eugene, sits at the Senior's back table, He'll soon tie the knot with a girl, willing and able. Carol Spearman, small, mighty, and neat, Has won loads of friends, an many a feat. Rita Elksnis, with accent and spirit so bright, Will probably raise turkeys sometime in her life. john Kucheravy's a pretty smart guy, He never lets a chance to talk get by. Tall, friendly, and always laughing, that's our Kay, And we wouldn't have that Mizer any other way. john D. Laudetbaugh is innocent and sweet, Not backward in sports or in the back seat. Nice to us all, that's Ruth Sapp, and she may Be a farmerette or housewife somewhere along the way. Tom Severns goes for a blonde in a heap big way, He's tall, friendly, smart, and in our mem'ries will stay. A good natured friend is Rita K. Greer, Blessed with a lovely voice, easy on the ear. T he real gay president of our class is Jimmy Colopy. A l'uture Farmer of America this lad is goin' to be. All Rhodes lead to Glenmont, so Carole believes, She prefers fun to studies, and never once grieves. Here's another janet, janet Kay that is, Loaded full of pep, and is that White a whiz! jay Morris is quite a truck driver, a real cowboy, Hauling anything from soup to limberger, he will enjoy. Marie has her future planned, as you can see, A wife and a Mowery is what she's going to be. A kind of easy goin' guy, is our friend Joe Piar, Whenever there's school work to do, he always seems to tire. Here's an industrious, hard working gal, Cute Barbara Sapp, she's everyone's pal. Richard tried the Navy and now he's back at school. We're glad to have that Stumbaugh here, we think he's pretty cool! Ramona with her pony tail is liked by all the class, Glen Hall, with whom she spends her time, has roped this bonnie lass. A real cool cat is that crazy Don Shackle, Any girl, any sport, he is willing to tackle. Letters to Ohio U. our Shirley Rice does send, She cheers our team, and, every slumber party will atten . Carl Blubaugh likes a certain Howard irl, That cheerleader surely has him in a whirl. Here's Tom's girl, that cute Ida Maie, An honor student, too, and that speech will probably say. thy Marilyn? I'd like to pay tribute to Marilyn, my frien', She's a genius at the piano or with a pen. fby Idal And this is the class of '55, Full of life and lots of jive! Keats and Shelley Page Twenty-five
