The Clarion '54 Editorial The Senior Class of 1954 takes great pleasure in presenting to you this issue of the Clarion. It is our final contribution as students of Danville School, and we hope that you may receive some enjoyment from it. We have come to the last page of an unforgettable book, a book entitled School Days. We can never read this book again, therefore it is with con- siderable sorrow that we read these last words. But it is with a feeling of achievement too, for we have succeeded in completing twelve chapters packed with fun, action and hard work. Our parents and teachers have thus far guided our steps with patience and skill, and have prepared us for the life we are now beginning - a life filled with decisions and problems which we must face. We are grateful to them, and we will use the knowledge we have acquired to the best of our ability, hoping that by so doing the world may become a better place in which to live. The Staff wishes to thank all those who have in any way contributed to the success of this Clarion, especially our faculty adviser, Mr. Senft. As Editor, I also wish to express my appreciation to my classmates and the other members of the staff for their splendid co-operation and fine work. As the years rush by and the memory of our school years begins to fade, we may refresh it by browsing through the pages of the Clarion and reliving in our minds the experiences recorded there.
