The Clarion '54 Class Poem Here's a key hole peek from behind the door. Oi our fellow classmates of 54 . Ioanne B. is a light-haired lass, She's never late lor any class. Marilyn B., who is very tall, Plans on college this coming fall. Doris Body is full of joy, She goes with a tall, dark-haired boy. Sara Conkle has won many an award, She prefers someone who has a two-toned Ford. Nancy Durbin is sweet and chic. The type that makes a party click. Helen Durbin, who likes to skate, Is never late tor any date. Iimmy Emmert, who isn't very tall, Can do quite a lot, even though he is small. Kathleen Finan is an English whiz, She gets an A on every quiz. We have a Charles, with short-cut locks, But on the gridiron, he's a regular Fox, Slippery and tricky in sports Harold plays. But normally quite Frank in social ways. Gridiron opponents Tommy G. tries hard to beat, But he always appears in class so trim and neat. Faun and Fern, twins by chance, Though not identical, both love to dance. Don Laughrey, quarterback, fisherman too, Preiers gals also, on his menu. Besides tooting a tuba and getting good grades David Liier's ambition, a lone hand in spades. Dorothy Lybarger is a slim, trim girl, Who is blessed with many a natural curl. Page Twenty-six Science and math. Einstein stufl. For Lee McConnell, it's not too tough. Earl Mickley is a very tall boy, Playing hookey is his greatest joy. Ioyce Mickley is a good natured kid. She's often seen riding with Sid. Charles Miller would never say die, For Helen D. is the apple oi his eye. Still water runs deep, so we are told, Warren Myers seems to fit that maxim oi old. Son of the soil, Conard Nyhart by name, An A-l half back to spark any game. Paul O'Donnell. Whit for short, Irish wit, plus a good sport. Very little jean has to say, To convey her thoughts she has a way. Ruth Shultz is pleasant and kind, Another like her is hard to find. Karol Sloan, timid and blonde, Of movies and skating she's very iond. To get things done, that's Nola Smail. But she'll never iinagle a course at Yale. Conard Treen, whom you all have seen, He plays the trombone, and is a scream. Ioe Weber won't be tutored at South Bend. For his talent is of the mechanical trend. Sweet music on a trumpet Eugene sure can make, lust mention Euchre, to the Woods he won't take. Dalene Workman, a sweet lass is she, A concert pianist she wants to be. The peek is finished. a full view we can't tell. So from Cameron and Larry a fond iarewell.
