PRESIDENT ' S MEETING President William Langas is shown above with Mr. Russell Guin, Chairman of the Danville Junior College Board of Trustees, at the President ' s Session held September 5, 1972. Mr. Langas became the second president of Danville Junior College July 1, 1972. Since 1969 he has served as Director of Faculty and Instruction at D.J.C. He served as Chairman of the Social Science Depart ment from 1966 to 1969. He received his bachelors and his masters degrees at the University of Illinois. He has appeared in Outstanding Educators of America (1970), and is a member of the American Association for Higher Education, American Association of Junior Colleges, Communi- ty College Social Science Association, Chicago Council on Foreign Relations, and Phi Theta Kap- pa.
