WOMAN OF THE YEAR EXECUTIVE DEAN MARY MILLER OF DANVILLE JUNIOR COLLEGE In June, Danville Business and Professional Women ' s Club named Execu- tive Dean Mary Miller Danville ' s Woman of the Year. Dean Miller ' s fame, however, reaches far beyond the confines of Danville. She is listed in many books of Who ' s Who, among them the Dictionary of International Biography . She is the only woman who is dean of a junior college in Illinois and is secre- tary-treasurer of the Illinois Association of Junior Colleges. She has published several plays and articles. She received both her B.A. and M.A. at the University of Illinois but has also earned credit hours at six other universities throughout the United States. Honors she has received in the fields of English and Speech are numerous. Above all these, we think of Dean Miller, for the many things she has done and is doing to give Danville a junior college.
