imers Looking back three years, we find there was no Chronicle . Even more noteworthy, we find that Danville Junior College had a full-time staff of only four members aiding Dean Mary Miller. Miss Mary Ann Diller, Social Studies Chairman, is the senior full-time member of our teaching staff. Mrs. Alice Lee Morrison, Humanities Chairman, next joined this group that has done so much toward making D. J. C. what it is today and may be tomorrow. Later Mrs. Mary Ellen Schaff, Mathematics Chairman, and Mrs. Annabelle Ne el, Registrar and Secretary, joined this group that saw potential for higher education in Danville. Inadequately we give you a picture of the ever-young old timers.

Preface One of the first ideas we are taught upon entering Danville Junior College is that the decision is ours. As the end of the year approaches, we, the editors of The Chronicle, trust you have found what you have been looking for in this institution of higher learning.
