PERSONAL ENRICHMENT Through THE HOLTEN stu- dents are encouraged to submit any creative effort they would like to see published. The addition of the Dunn Wing includes enough printing equipment so that THE HOLTEN is now issued entirely, from the initial writing to the final publishing, here at Dan- vers High School. S TUDENT PAR TIC IP A TION: The Drama Club enacted a series of one-act plays, such as The Trysting Place' and Not Enough Rope”. Other plays were performed and recorded in the T. V. Studio. The club is open to all students. Beth Gaffney, Terri Corbett The Future Teachers of America remains a group of high school students who antic- ipate entering the teaching profession. The club attempts to explore various areas of edu- cation and provide practical experiences as well as theatri- cal concepts. At the present time the orchestra is preparing for an exchange concert with the Glaston- berry, Connecticut high school orches- tra. We are also working on the orchestra music for the George M musical. Most note- worthy are the eight seniors who have played with the high school orchestra for five years. Cheryl Gagnon. Sue Brown. The Falcon Marching Band's pri- mary function is to create espirit de school” via its per- formances at foot- ball games, pep ral- lies. and parades. The Concert Band offers instrumental- ists an opportunity to explore a variety of band literature from a great deal of dif- ferent periods and idioms.
