COMMUNICA TION The International Language Club is an activity which involves stu- dents from all the languages: French. Spanish. German, and Latin. Our goal is to enhance the knowledge and appreciation of other peoples as we assume a closer relationship with the countries of the world. As an example, one of our most rewarding experiences at the end of this year will have been the planning of functions to benefit the stricken people of Guatemala. The television studio has been a center of student activity all year. Several hundred students have been involved with television productions including class projects, WDHS News, What's Happening, sports and musical remotes, and instructional television productions. The Distributive Education Club of America is designed to promote leader- ship development in marketing and distribution. Students in this program manage a school store which specializes in school supplies. Mr. Cun Pizzo Advisor The National Honor Society This has been a big year for bake sales. We should be able to exceed last year's fund raising efforts, and we plan to award $400 in scholarships. Many of our members are helping the League of Women Voters to conduct a housing survey.
