Annual Staff It takes a lot of hard work to edi t an annual, but our very capable editor, Jeannie Becker and her right hand assistant Marilyn Sankey have been doing a wonderful job of it. They say meeting the deadline is their biggest problem. Our two very fine photographers are busy selecting the best pictures for our I957 annual. They are M. Kopel and S. Schmidt. In order to edit this annual we have depended on the support given us by our very fine business mana- gers pictured here. G. lueck, and W. Van Buren. Busy tyDing for the annual are the typists, E. Reetz, 0. Schwartz and M.l. Van 8uren. Seated at the desk are: Director, Mr. Orr, D. Schwartz. Standing left to right are: M. Caldwell, H. Braun, J. Kleinhuizen, L. Kots, J. Kurtz, C. Yock, M. Kopel, A. Johnson, K. Gens. Hawk’s Staff After a short interruption for the ourpose of taking this picture, Editor, Darala Schwartz and her Assistant, Janice Kleinhuizen will get back to work making plans and dummy copies for the next edition. Their hard work is reflected in the many outstanding HAWKS REPORTS that have been issued this year. Busy typing dummy copies for for the real stencil are our very efficient typists, Leona Kots, Karol Gens and Carol Yock. They have a big respons- ibility and carry it very well. Always winding up with the dirty work are our reliable and very capable machine operators, Mavis Caldwell and Joyce Kurtz. Not pictured is Judy Schroeder. These girls have done a very fine job this year and deserve much credit. Pictured here are our Fashion Editor, Margaret Kopel, Co-Art Editor, Hilda Braun, and Sport Editor. Albert Johnson. Roseland's Entry-First Place Seated is Oueen Carolyn and standing are the three candidates Jeanne, Daraia, and Joyce. The three attendants are Bonnie, Avis, and Alda. The biggest event of our school year is Homecoming. It was held on Saturday, September 26. For the first time in our school's history we crowned sisters in two consecutive years. Each class had an entry in the parade to add color to the event. These floats looked almost pro- fessional to the crowd that watched. Many hours were spent in pre- paration for the supper, the dance, and the parade by the students and their advisors.
