Signed t The Seniors of Danube High Sohool In the Year 1950. CLASS PROPHECY Looking through the crystal ball, we find many changes have taken place in the past ten years. The graduating class of 1950 is no long- er grasping for a plaoe in life but all have become successful. Erwin Becker has set up a profitable business of selling water pistols which he has confiscated from his pupils. His sideline is teaohing school. Agnes Hayek has finally received recognition as a world famous secretary and is now working for Secretary of State, Dean Atoheson in Washington D. C. Gerald Holwerda has found his fortune in the brokerage business and retired. He has settled down with his favorite girl to raise a family. Plash I This has just come over the radio, Joseph Serbus, our shy- senior has acquired the position of Senator of Minnesota. What do you know he might be president some day] Carol Lee's name is no longer Schroeder. She has settled down aa- a housewife and raising her own hired girls. Jerome Valvin has gone into the slot machine business and is now- now operating at the State Capitol. By reading all the farm magazines Norman Molenar has beoome a prosperous farmer. Only last year he became land hungry and purchased all the land around Danube. Margie Dolezal has aohieved her ohildhood ambition, that of a fashion model. She has Just returned from New York where she modeled the latest in spring apparel. Duane Kramer has Just converted his Hudson garage in Danube and is now selling Fords. Seems he was slowly losing money. We see Therese Zetah coming along the hall of the Olivia hospital where she is supervisor of the maternity ward. Verdyne Krause is a busy girl these days. We see her rushing from one cocktail party to another, giving orders to her household servant but still she finds time to darn her millionaire husbands socks. ing his Prophecy Con't. ?0UMeZaSSr1f.«2. lnJ?Tbe aft,er her teachers traln- gravel'plt! employed as chief dredger operator In Shlrlee Jahnke and Mildred Abrehamson are still together as thev always were In high school; they are single, happy go-luckj AlsTrt are still memorizing license numbers of certain cars.
