Proohecy Cf the Senior Class Non’ it came to pass in the year 1339, as I sat among my class mates in English four class, that the iuture was opened unto me, and I s visions ol hat was to be. And I looked into t he future, and behold a whirlwind came out of spt.ce, a great cloud, arid light enfolding itself about me, leaving me in a trance. and behold I locked twenty years nence. I pick up a ns, sp...per, whz.t is this a see? The Pres- ident of the United States, Fred Fox, and ;ife the form- er Jennie Ashbrock, lave just returned from a pleasure trip to South America. But for goodness s.kes don’t get the idea that Fred is for all pleasure and no work, be- cause he is really a splenaid president. Reading aoout old friends and class mates makes me curious to find out what ha happened to all my class mates of ' 39. Twenty years is quite a lon tame, but I hardly believe it impossible to succeed m such a venture. I think I will visit hr. an 1 Mrs. rox. Perhaps they can guide le to the ones I valsh to find. Whe n I arrive in Washington, I cm disappointed to find the President and his wife are too busy with national ail airs to talk with me . I think I mill stroll down the street and forget this silly business of finding old friends. My J Whats that? An ambulance in that hurry? IVliati an airplane wreck? Who is this running uo the street ? Ill sobs and tears? Some one flings her arms sbout my neck I . The l dy must be crazy. Well, well, if it isn’t Manthales Me C own, And why the w.ieping? Oh, now I understand. lie ' ’ husband is in that am- bulance and he was in nr .arol ' ne creek. I hail a taxi and ve rush to the hospital. Mnnthrle , who is ycur hus! and? John Anderson? Ch, he worn the oilot? Well we had bettor rush. At last we arrive dt the capital. There comes a nurse. I’ll find out aocut John, Mr. Ander son, is he all ri lit? What a nan ow escape I Why, Miss Carty, hat a surprise. Imagine Elizabeth Carty, caring ior the sick. I thought she wtuld hc.vo beer, married long ago. Elizabeth informs me that Hazel South and Liar ? garet Litton Were ho stes scion the wrecked plane, but Were not seriously injured. There comes 3. nurse and doctor down the hall. I recojiize the nurse as Francis Dooley. The doctor is none other than Jim Stewart, and I 1 ind the reason he has never married is that he loves all women so well lie can’t make up his mind which one to choose for a wife. Well this is a good start. Now where can I find the others. Here’s a Be a. ty Parlor. I think I’ll get a facial. Hello, who is this? Are you the operator? Dorothy Smith, I hardly reconized you. You have certainly changed.’ I am trying to find what has happened to all our Seniors. Do
