' 'V g Foreword JUST as our forefathers took on the challenge of the Old West, we, too, are preparing to venture beyond the boundaries of our high school days to face the challenge of the future. Our years in high school have been spent not only in acquiring an education but also in developing social and spiritual understanding, and such qualities as self-reliance, a sense of responsi- bility, and a determination to make the most of ourselves. The class of 1955 presents this DANUA as a remembrance of the profitable years we have gm eww spent at D.C.H.S. EDITOR Dedication HIS year, we the class of 1955 dedicate the DANUA to Coach Russell Stead For nine years he has devoted his time and patience to giving us the kind of sportsmanship of which we can be proud We shall always be grateful for what he has done for our school, not only in sports, but al so in good citizenship This is our way of saying Thanks Coach We really appreciate it' G RUSSELL STEAD 2 I 7 Q Q . . . . . cc ' 1 7 ' ' 7, - .
