Foreword C E, the Class of 1953, have selected The Solar Sys- Wtemn as the theme for our yearbook. Our faculty is represented by the sun, which gives all of us the light of learning. The earth symbolizes the Senior Class, and, as it travels along its annual path, it passes through the four seasons: the Magazine Drive, the Senior Play, the Senior Ball, and the trip to Washington. During this time, we ex- perience periods of calm, fair weather and also stormy days, but our planet finally reaches the long-awaited posi- tion in its orbit: Graduation.
