CLASS HISTORY s the Class ol 1950 begms nts lourney down the long road of life we feel that a memorandum should be made so that In future years when browsmg through this book you wlll remember our class s accomplishments To lead us In our struggle to get acquainted wrth DCH S we chose Raublyn Werth as our president Assrstlng her were John Kenney vrce presl dent Robert Moore treasurer and Dorothea Van Derwerken secretary The only actnvnty that we as Freshmen sponsored was a sweater dance but It gave us a good start on our hugh school career Our Sophomore year was very successful As omcers we elected Evelyn Acomb presrdent Robert Emerson vrce president John Kenney treasurer and Eugene Waters secretary Besides havrng two very successful movle benefits and a sweater dance the class nntroduced a coke machme an the school The class showed nts Fine co operative splrrt an the Junlor year as every one loaned In to make our candy sale our sweater dances and last but not least the Junror Prom a success The theme of the Prom was Candyland and It ended a Hne year under the leadershrp of Eugene Waters president John Kenney tary The Sensor year began wrth a bang as our magazine drive was a huge suc cess thus bemg the frrst year that sales ever went over the S5 OOO mark The Sensor Ball had for nts theme Dreamers Holnday and It was also a tremendous success Our Hearts Were Young and Gay was the tltle ol the Senlor play whrch netted a protrt of 266 Alter much antrcrpatlon on the part of the Semors they lelt for Washrngton wrth Mr and Mrs Bradley and Mr and Mrs Manrlla chaperonrng durrng the Easter vacatron Leadmg the Sensor Class were Robert Engle president Robert Emerson vlce presldent Gordon Derrenbacher treas urer and Eugene Waters secretary Our smcerest gratrtude goes to the Board of Educatron Mr Bradley M Pnllard Mr Campbell our class advisors and all our teachers through the years of our school career who helped us so much rn achnevlng our goal Graduatlon' 21 . . . . .
