There has been a larger photo coverage, more personal items have been included, and the amount of advertising has been cut to approximately hall that ol previous years. The best newspaper in DCHS sponsored the morning newscasts over the public address system. The Searchlight has worked this year to obtain tor the student the things he wants, to make DCHS more satisfactory to him. Beginning the year. President Evelyn Acomb, Vice-President John Pappas, Secretary David Fox, and Treasurer William Smith met with representatives of the Student Government and introduced a season ticket for the students. Also on this year's schedule was the athletic injury lund, council guides for Parent-Teachers Night, two benefit shows, and the annual Christ- mas program. All of these proved to be a credit to the organization.
