MIXED CHORUS The Mixed Chorus, com:osed of seventyvfive students from the tenth, eleventh, and twelfth years, has completed another successful year under the capable direction of Miss Margaret E. Hondelink. The excellent accompanying of Miss S. Maud Bayford has added mu:h to the success of the chorus. Shirley Woods is the secretary. Eleven members of the Mixed Chorus were chosen for membership in the Dansville Sectional All-State Choir, seven pupils sang on a radio program over the public address system promoting the collection of old clothes foi European Relief, The Mixed Chorus sang at the Union Thanksgiving Service, the high school Christ- mas assembly, and the annual concert. The Ninth Year Chorus of fifty pupils will help to furnish singers next year to take the place of Mixed Chorus members who will be lost by graduation. The Senior Dramatic Club has completed a successful and enloyable year with Mrs Freytag as director The club meetings were held monthly All seniors intere ted in dramatics were entitled to be members of this organization At the beginning of the year officers were electecl President, Jacquelyn Acomb Secretary Pat ricia Sm: h and Treasurer Phyllis Campbell Most important of all the propects assumed by the club was the Senior Play Under the guidance of Mrs Freytag the Dramatic Club chose Tish as the play Tins choice proved to be a tremendous success both from the financial and entertainment side Members of the cast included Jacquelvn Acomb Doris Schir mer Barbara Whitney, Phyllis Campbell Athalene Everman, r-red Wadams Ralph rox David Schirmer June ureer, Helen Fagan Joseph Schu ler Donald Traxler, and Margaret Beatty SENIOR DRAMATIC CLUB 23 i i i . . , . . . 1 . . i . .3 . . . . . r. .
