MIXED CHORUS The Mixed Chorus is holding an Annual Spring Concert, Officers of this Chorus are Shirley Woods and Doris Merriman The Sen or Dramatic Club this year had for its officers Paul Maples as president Doris Wise secretary and Mr Freytag advisor Our activities have included the Senior Play Grumpy which was a great success The cast of this play were Mr Andrew Bullivant Paul Maples Mr Ernest Heron Charles Finch Ruddock George Roberts mond Woods Dawson John Smith Virginia Bullivant Louella Dilgard Mrs Macl.aven Gera'dine Moose Susan Anna Mae Schirmer The proceeds from this play were S29l 47 Nearly every senior had a part toward the success of the play working on the play lection committee in the ticket selling and advertising campaign prompter usher or in some other capacity Other activities at the regular meetings on Fridays have included play readings and reports of in teresting articles on dramatics On Memorial Day the members of the Dramatic Club enjoyed a picnic supper at the Glen Marguerite Mitchell Betty Mitchell SENIOR DRAMATIC CLUB l25l i 4, SV I V I i , , . l GIRLS' GLEE CLUB The Senior Girls Glee Club under the efficient direction of Miss l-londelink began the 1944 and 1945 school year. Some of the outstanding performances are the following: The pageant, The Nativity , presented forthe public, Sunday afternoon, December 17, 1944. The Annual Spring Concert and Matinee for Grade School pupils, And last of all the Baccalaureate in June. Some members of the chorus also sang for the Opportunity Circle, Business and Professional Women's Clubs, Faculty, Christmas Banquet, and the Rotary Club. Joyce Forsythe, Marion Grant, Geraldine Moose and Rita Rauber were chosen to be members of the All State Choir held in Oleon November 17, 1944. Miss Maude Bayford is the piano accompanist, Nineteen Forty five marks the tenth year Miss Hondelink has coached the A Cappella Chorus The activities this year are as follows Christmas assembly pageant and another performance which was put on for the public the Rotary Christmas program and Twelfth Night Delegates attended the Music Festival at Oleon N Y As the Danua goes to press the Annual Spring Concert has not been held but will be presented some time In April A CAPPELLA CHORUS I 241 , . , , . .
