GIRLS' ATHLETIC CLUB The chief aims of the Girls' Athletic Club areg to promote a greater interest among the girls in the fields of sportsg to provide a finer sense of appreciation for the values of co-operation and teamworkg and to furnish broader information on the various activities. The following officers were elected to aid in carrying out the activities for this year: President, Doris Wiseg Vice-President, Joanne Engleg Secretary, Agnes Fontaineg Treasurer, Marilyn Seeley. The Athletic Club is made up of members from the Tenth, Eleventh, and Twelfth year classes. Each member has enjoyed participation in the activities un der the supervision of Mrs. Schlingerland, who has shown keen interest in the organization. The Dansville F F A participated in many activities during the year Basketball proved very popular Donald Traxler was elected Captain for the year A Father and Son banquet was held in March In the Livingston County F F A Dairy Judging Contest held on Apr l3th the Judging team Donald Traxler Bruce Acomb and Gordon Luce won first honors ln the individual contests Gordon Luce was the highest scorer with Bruce Acomb winning third place and Gayle Aldrich garnering fourth place Officers fa the year were President Daniel Flint Vice President Donald Traxler Secretary Charles Howe Treasurer Gayle Aldrich Donald Traxler served as County Chairman of the F F A and attended the meeting at Cor nell University as a representative of the County Group FUTURE FARMERS l22 l i . . . , . , , 1 V 1 A Q . . . . . , . THE BAND This year the band had a very successful organization. The band was under the able supervision ol Mr, Jack Wroble. The band gave many spectacular performances at the basketball games thfs year. The following members of musical groups were selected to play in the All-State Organizations at the N Y. S. M.
