SEVENTH YEAR CLASS Under the capable supervision of Miss Fitzpatrick and Mrs. Ayres, an afghan and a scrapbook of in- formation about our boys in service were completed. The class officers for this year are: Veda Burns as President, Betty Burns, Vice-President, Winifred Halbert, Secretary, and Robert l-lines, Treasurer. I The Eighth Year Class has spent this year engaged in a variety of activities ln September the class elected Barry Blum president Jean Hamsher vice president Beverly Kennedy secretary and Donald Forsythe treasurer Also at that time Harriet Finch and Thomas Minemier were elected Red Cross Representatives This active class has attained a perfect one hundred percent goal in the Junior Red Cross and Student Association enrollments and in the contributions forthe Junior Red Cross War Fund The eighth year class was in charge of sorting and packing fifty Red Cross Educational Gift Boxes Another project which proved very successful was the making of twenty scrapbooks which were sent to hospitals for disabled veterans The dramatic ability of this group was shown in an assembly program titled The Melting Pot which all the students took an active part These and other activities were conducted by the students with Miss Marjorie Hanagan and Mrs Eleanor Walker as class advisors EIGHTH YEAR CLASS 1 1 1 1 ' 1 1 1 1 - . ., . , , ,, . 1, . , , In
