The Basketball Team THE Basketball Team of 1931-'32 enjoyed a very successful season A1 though the team failed to win the pennant, they managed to keep in the race all year. I .mx . , TFGCIC Team THIS team, coached by Mr. Louis Mitchell, has proved that track is qualihed to rank as a major sport of Dansville Central High School. The team this year showed a fine spirit of cooperation, and it is hoped that next year it will develop more fine material, similar to the quality, plus stars, represented on the team this year. The nucleus of the team, consisting of Vincent Forsythe, James Robson, John Huver and Norman Stevens, composed the famous relay team which was beaten by several inches for first place at the Alfred Meet. High school teams from Western New York and Pennsylvania ompeted. ry!ljJidelbert Dyer, Dansville's star in the 12 lb. shot event, heaved the .I iro ball over 39 feet, a record which no student in Dansville High has yet equaled. The track team competed at the Alfred Meet, LeRoy, Warsaw, R.B.I., Rochester University Meet, and the Dansville Invitation Meet. Dansville Central High has developed fine caliber this year. In addi- tion to the newly developed material, Dansville hopes to show a splendid team next year. 29
