Business Ed is the order of the day at Webster this year as we swing rapidly into the city-wide program of high schools each oriented basically toward one field of study. Webster has been allotted the business courses and will, in future years, be a magnet school for high school business students throughout the city. Foundation of the program based on previously standard curriculum at Webster includes typewriting, shorthand, law, office machines, bookkeeping, accounting. general office education. and the cooperative office education program with a wide variety of on-the-job training experiences. As in the past, students will be trained in preparing themselves for the business world through the use of new and up-to- date equipment and ever revised courses keeping in step with the most modern business situations.
