Industrial Arts Program Is Varied Helping students plan for jobs while in school and immediately after graduation, the Industrial Arts De- partment offers a wide program of studies to equip those not neces- sarily planning on a continued edu- cational career. Graduates acquainted with selling techniques and machine-, wood-, and auto-shop experiences are equipped to go directly into the competitive labor market and succeed. Webster's well-equipped and staff- ed shops, drafting section, and Di- versified Educational program are busy places for both the job oriented and those seeking hobby training.

It has been necessary for the business department to expand its variety in basic business. It helps preview advanced techniques which tend to bring students to a high level of efficiency when they accept their first job. Through the Cooperative Office Education program many stu- dents work half-time in business offices while attending school to help prepare them for better jobs after graduation.
